Tracey Moro — Editor in Chief
Tracey Moro grew up in St. Clair Shores. She has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations/Journalism from Western Michigan University and has more than 30 years of writing experience. Along with being an owner/editor of Macomb Now Magazine she also owns Studio Communications, a small PR/Graphic Design agency. Avid in the community, her two children have gone off to college and left her with less volunteering but she is still the volunteer PR person for the Thrilla at the Villa, a fund raiser for MS and other local organizations. When she’s not working she loves to be with family, kayak and bike on the local trails.
Anne Nicolazzo — Photographer
Anne Nicolazzo is a freelance photographer, on the board of directors for Wigs4Kids and an office manager for a local defense contractor. In 2011 she was recognized as the Macomb County Outstanding Volunteer Recipient.
Nick Lico — Writer
With nearly 30 years of experience, Nick Lico is a seasoned journalist. His bylines have been found in numerous national and international consumer and trade publications. He holds a BA in journalism and a MA in Communication from Wayne State University. He loves living in Macomb Township with his wife and two sons. When Nick isn’t writing, you can find him at a golf course or teaching golf to students of all ages.

Shelley is a limited licensed psychologist and psychodynamic psychotherapist. A lifelong resident of Macomb County, she earned her master’s degree from Wayne State University with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Rebecca Calappi — Writer
Rebecca Calappi is a freelance writer and a life-long Eastsider. She has a journalism degree from Oakland University, and several awards for her work in corporate communications, including a MarCom Gold. She lives in St. Clair Shores with her husband and two kids.
David LeDuc — Associate Publisher
David LeDuc grew up in Mount Clemens and yes, he is the son of Judge Denis LeDuc. He attended Oakland University receiving a bachelor’s degree in education and went on to Wayne State University for his master’s in Instructional Technology. David currently teaches in Waterford Schools and is an Athletic Administrator as well. Every day he strives to keep up with his wife and seven children. Despite his busy schedule David makes time to oversee subscriptions and quarterly distribution of the magazine.
Denis LeDuc — Local Historian
Denis LeDuc has lived and worked in Macomb County for the past 40 years. He now serves as a District Judge and maintains a keen interest in local history. His work appears in our Macomb Then section.
Alexis Bohlinger — Writer
Alexis Bohlinger grew up in Macomb County and has been a feature writer for Hockey Weekly Magazine for seven years. She received her BA in English and Creative Writing from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Jacqueline Conway — Writer
Jacqueline was raised in Romeo and currently lives in Clinton Township with her family. She attended attended both Western Michigan and Oakland Universities. Her love of writing and being in the community inspired her to join the team at Macomb Now.
Suzanne Musante — Advertising Sales Representative

Mike Ferdinande — Photographer
Mike Ferdinande has grown up in Macomb County. A graduate of Oakland University with a BA in photography, he works freelance and enjoys taking photos at live concerts.
Dan Heaton – Writer
Macomb County native Dan Heaton has been a reporter and public relations professional for more than 30 years. He’s active at First Presbyterian Church – Mount Clemens, with the Macomb County Warming Center and serves in the Michigan Air National Guard. Currently, he works as the manager of public relations for Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Candice Miller.
